Lordsburg Municipal Schools

The Golden Apple Scholars Program in New Mexico is a teacher preparation program, for high school seniors through sophomores in college, who have the determination and drive to be highly effective teachers in New Mexico Pre-K-12th grade schools. We prepare aspiring teachers for immediate and lasting success in their classrooms. As a Golden Apple Scholar, Vanessa Ramirez will be mentored by many award-winning teaching faculty. She and sixteen other scholars from all around the state will be part of the first class of Golden Apple Scholars in New Mexico! The Golden Apple Scholars Program provides their scholars hands-on instruction from award-winning teachers, and experience teaching and leading in their own communities while providing academic and social-emotional support. Congratulations to Vanessa on receiving this scholarship towards completing her goal of becoming a Pre-K teacher. We are so proud of you, keep up the hard work.
